Even though our Universe is littered with a plethora of black holes, dying stars, colliding galaxies, and stray asteroids, the greatest threat to our existence is from our own selves. Perhaps the world's safety lies not as much in the number of missiles as in the friendliness of our daily interactions.
We have the power to undo what's been done and to do what calls our name. It is within us to rise to the occasion, let us do that.
There would be no need to unite against animosity if we were already united in favor of harmony.
Fear is at the heart of all hurt that one causes to another or to oneself. Where fear abides, hurt dwells. To be rid of violence, be rid of all fear first.
