In search for life's meaning, it is revealing when life itself stares back at oneself, imploring one to help her discover herself and to give her meaning...

As we go about meeting our needs, it behooves us to be mindful that our need is not only for food, but also for hunger; not only for acceptance, but also for alienation; not only for fulfillment, but also for discontent. Only one who is not afraid to till the soils of scarcity gets to experience the true joy of fields of abundance ♥
How ironic that we are so confident of our actions against those whom we believe hate us and so unsure of how to respond to those that seem to emanate love. Love confuses us, scares us, makes us doubt. It challenges us to believe in the goodness of another when we would rather be secure in the knowledge of our hurts and beliefs.

As we of the "developed world" dwell in our self created misery let us be mindful of the billions for whom life's challenges are not transcended by simply adopting good habits of eating right, exercising more, and going to bed on time. Be the blessing that you have been given. Love, care, share - not just of your things but also of who you are.

Do not ignore what is available in the search for what may be missing. Life's gifts are not always in form of a lottery or a promotion at work. Most of them come in much simple packages as in the ability to walk, to see, to breathe, to be. Cherish all that you are given for there is always another for whom your life is but a dream, and many for whom it would always remain so.
